Shouty2Times is a Russian prodigy producer who produced music for Boyblanck and DRV’s single ‘Court Kacheri’. The track was a part of the trap icons’ latest project ‘Multani Mitti’. We spoke to the producer to know more about his sound and musicality:
How would you describe yourself and your musicality to someone unaware of you?
Well, I am a young producer who is married to making music haha. This is what I love to do with all my heart. I create something that I would listen to myself. When I make beats, time passes unnoticed, I can do it one by one and not even notice that I haven’t eaten anything yet in a day.
How did you meet Boyblanck and DRV? Do you listen to other artists in the DHH community?
It was an amazing story. One day when I made a beat “Court Kacheri”, I posted it on my YouTube channel and forgot about it. After a while, I decided to see if there was someone who took it to create a song and then I saw that there was a song by Boyblanck and DRV, and it had a lot of streams. That was the first time I found out that I had a hit. After that, I wrote a Boyblanck and that’s how we met and started working together. DRV I met through a Boyblanck, he is a very good man.
Before I met Boyblanck, I didn’t listen to Indian music, but after I met him, I became interested and listened to some other Indian artists. There are many good artists whose songs I like.
Tell us about your creative process on Court Kacheri. How was your experience of collaborating on the track being miles away for a fanbase that doesn’t recognise you yet?
Well, I remember when I woke up, opened my laptop, started my FL Studio, and thought that I wanted to make something with a dark vibe, where the guitar would be the main melody. Then I took the guitar and the melody started to create itself in my mind. The whole beat was made in about 30-40 minutes.
This is an amazing thing that we can make good music being far away from each other. Now distance is not a problem to create something unique together. Im really appreciative it that so many people liked my sound and we made a really fire track. I hope in the future I will be able to come to India and together with a Boyblanck and DRV we will perform it on the stage.
What are your inspirations? Do you listen to any Indian artists?
I was inspired by the whole process of creating a song, from the moment when I started making beats to the final result. I like to keep learning, watch tutorials and just click on YouTube. Time by time I like to look back and listen to my old beats, because I see the difference between what I did and what I am doing now, I see the growth and it inspires me to continue working on myself. I have always been inspired by Metro Boomin, but not cuz he is major producer or anything else, namely his sound, his music, and how he produces songs that become not just songs, but a whole composition. Also, I like to meet different artists because they all have different visions of the theme music, different vibes, and styles.
Tell us about your future projects/ideas that you are working on.
We are still working with Boyblanck, I like to work with him, and you could probably see some projects from us soon. But I’m still open to working with everybody, I answer to everyone on my Instagram. Now I’m working on different projects with different artists so you can see any music updates with me on my Instagram page.
