Zorba and DRV’s recent banger ‘Andha Paisa’ features a gruesome vaunt of their persona

Released on the 11th of August, ‘Andha Paisa’ by Zorba and DRV lasts less than three minutes. The track features a blend of the artists’ forte as they bring a ‘Delhi-vibe’ to the Drill single. The cover art of the single features an ‘Illuminati eye’ which could be indicating towards the competence of the artists’ vigor.

Zorba, known for his immaculate skills in the drill genre of Hip-Hop, utilizes his strong suit in both of his verses. He brings a gritty vibe to his part of the track featuring his delinquent self. Zorba has also done the hook of the single, which is quite simple yet intense. His voice is another aspect that makes his pieces stand out from the other Drill tracks in the scene. He executes his gangsta verses with a zesty flow as he talks about his criminal life and various other errant instances he has faced.

DRV’s feature verse seamlessly transitions as a bridge before the hook. Acknowledged for his work in the trap genre, DRV didn’t have any strain in getting into the drill sound ‘Andha Paisa’ has, thanks to the similarities between both of the genres in question. He also adapts to the theme with his gangsta verses while also adding to the vibe of the track.

The production of ‘Andha Paisa’ is sonically quite intricate. XTACY, who has given the sound to the song, cooks up the perfect beat for the duo to ride through. The drilling sound is composed of a simple melody in the background that is sampled to sound like grime, followed by drums, 808s, and perfect percussion sequences. Sound effects such as the gun cock that gives way to Zorba’s second verse and occasional pauses with bass drops add a cherry on top of the overall sinister sound.
