Much like the original song [Johnny P’s Caddy by Benny the Butcher & J Cole], JPC Remix by Alpha’s World is a tell-all, bare-chested proclaiment of the struggles that the artist has faced in his life.

The 2-minute runtime of the song has no fillers or hook and is tightly filled with bars and emotions. Alpha wastes no time in sharing the troubles his family faced owing to his premature birth, the risks involved, and how it was possible that Alpha would never see the world if it wasn’t for the doctors and God.

The rapper then shares his gratitude for life and how a person in his position cannot take his life for granted. He realizes he escaped death before he was born and hence it inherently should be his nature to be fearless and follow his dreams. He understands the fickle nature of life.

LYRICISM

When you are remixing arguably one of the best tracks of 2022, graced by two of the best rappers alive on an Alchemist beat, the expectations are very high for the artist to not mess it up. 
Lucky for us, Alpha conveyed his hard-hitting struggles with utmost conviction. While the remix owing to its short runtime and nature didn’t have many flow switches, the rhymes were on point, and quotables galore. 

In my opinion, Alpha’s verse had a bit of J Cole influence with the substance and the structure.
While J Cole’s technicalities were incredible [remember the Einstein bar?], Alpha matches it up with emotions and bare truth. Both have their own charm but for me, seeing a real-life inspirational story unveil is much more interesting.
