Wrong – The U.D, Sinash

When I heard “WRONG” for the first time, it instantly took me back to a quote that has helped me mend a lot of relationships in life. “Someone feeling wronged is like someone feeling thirsty. Don’t tell them they aren’t. Sit with them and have a drink.”

This quote encapsulates the song in the best way possible. In the song, the Rajasthan-based rapper cries out his innocence and pleads for peace.

Music

This is the third collaboration between Sinash and UD and every installment of their collaboration has been better than the previous one. Their chemistry has been improving ever since “Hold Up” and “Wrong” is a culmination of their efforts.

Sinash produces a banger of a beat for “Wrong” with high-pitched string loops sizzling on a fast tempo. The mix and mastering of a trap beat make or breaks the track and the mixing on this track has been impeccable! U.D’s voice flows on this beat like butter making the lyrics more impactful.

Lyricism

On a banger of a beat, lyrics don’t matter a lot as much as the flow and melody do.

Despite this advantage, UD shows respect for the art form and drops a few quotables while weaving a story around feeling wronged.

From betrayal by his girl to life lessons, family, and water shortage problems faced by the people in his state, the Rajasthan boy covers the feeling of being wronged in multiple contexts.

While there have been far better acts on this topic, attempting this on a trap better deserves due credit.
