B-Leaf teams up with Raghav & Rashim Anand in his latest single “Saare Bahane”

Arguments within couples are something that most of us relate to. Someone has the higher ground sometimes, while in some instances, the other one is logically correct. B-Leaf’s “Saare Bahane” conveys this scenario in a very musical manner. Released on the 25th of  June, Saare Bahane features Rashim Anand and Raghav. Rashim Anand is known for her vocals and the soulfulness she adds to songs. Her discography and her features are witness to it. Raghav tends to add a different perspective to his features while sticking to the theme.

Interestingly, both of the features have a comforting past in making music together, even when Raghav was a part of the Delhi-Based “Teesri Duniya” collective that dissolved later. The both flawlessly fit into the theme of the track and carry it forward.

B-Leaf, Rashim and Raghav Bring their own Flavours to the Song

“Saare Bahane” sees Raghav and Rashim having a friendly banter in the beginning, which gives way to  B-leaf entering and setting the scene for the track. He puts up the term “Saare Bahane” indicating that the guy has a higher ground, which is quite a rare scenario, and hence, Rashim follows with her argument and verse. In the end, Raghav concludes the comic yet beautiful and somewhat realistic play by complimenting and comforting her.

The musical aspect of the song is what beautifies it, the consistent bassline (fun fact: it was recorded on an acoustic guitar) that is often complimented with other samples of percussion and Indian music, which makes the production apt and minimalistic. The track heavily relies on vocals, and hence the production by B-Leaf coordinates with it. In some instances, though, you might notice guitar licks and samples that add to the delightful experience.

The Cover Art of the Song Aptly conveys the Theme!

The cover art checks out as the guy seems to be winning the chess game, which resembles the quarrel, while the girl is not very happy about it. “Saare Bahane” is an engaging and comic argument between two individuals in love, complemented by very beautiful music and an affectionate meaning.
