“Demons in my head” is a collaboration of the highest order between three talented underground artists of Indian Hip Hop, Krrway, SarpDansh, and Anxraag JD. The theme of the song is mellow, inspiring, and yet sorrowful and introspective. The song starts with an introspective hook modeled on the melody produced by Jason. The track is carefully stitched together by incorporating a slow melodic beat with Krrway’s and Anxraag’s high-tempo verses and heavy flow. It further balances the tempo with SarpDansh’s melodic hook and verse. The themes of the verses of all three of the artists fit together perfectly and stop the track from losing a central soundscape.
The vulnerability of the mind comes to the fore as the artists delve into themselves
The first verse starts with a mix of Hindi and English flow reminding us of Calm’s flow where Krrway talks about his ambition and focus. He has a smooth flow fitting very well with the beat. He manages to match the tempo and transition into the hook effortlessly. The autotune gives it a very unique sound and compliments the theme of the performance. All in all a great verse.
SarpDansh has a very melodic verse resonating with his signature style of lyrical melodic hip hop, he travels through his past and stops to look at the heartbreak he’s trying to bury and leave behind. He shows how lyrically composite his style of rap is by explaining how ambitions and emotions collide in a single line. SarpDansh is comfortable with the beat and manages his flow to stay consistent with claps and harmony changes. SarpDansh continues to give the same level of melodic beauty and clarity as is expected of him. As usual, he does not disappoint his listeners.

Anxraag’s verse is very different from his regular repertoire and has a strong voice with a faster tempo. He switched up his flow and showed his versatility and lyricism. He is confrontational and vulnerable, he talks about how it’s not his fault that he can’t open up, it’s the fault of everyone who did him wrong. Anxraag manipulates the flow in the middle of the verse three times and transitions it very effortlessly over the beat. He uses three different tempos in his verse and completely masters them giving the song a very smooth ending.
Jason unveils beats to fit the rhyme
The production by Jason is top-notch as he uses basic claps to set the tempo and controls the melody to execute a melodic high-frequency beat. The breaks are very well done to switch verses and the hook. Jason uses a rich palette of resources to produce a unique preset to accommodate three different artists.
Honestly, the song uses three different flows and artists masterfully and is consistent. Expectations from Anxraag and SarpDansh are definitely met and Krrway’s verse is a bonus for DHH listeners.
